Hi, today I have a quick tip to show you how you can stop random people who are not in your circle of friends by sending you a friend request. This is how you do it.
So you log in as your personal profile and go to the menu on the right and click on the drop-down menu. Here select the settings, and that will take you to the general account settings. But I will go to privacy. And there are a number of options here. But this is the key. Therefore, the default standard would be for everyone to send you a friend request. But if you can take a look at the dropdown now, there is another option that they are friends of friends.
So I will change it now and just click close. And now I will return to my real profile. And the way I can simply verify that that change has taken effect is by clicking the 3 dots here and selecting view as.
This is what your profile for Public looks like. And as you can see, there is no longer an Add Friend button available.
